Seven words describe how a Live Duels round is scored and settled: crown, gift tier, gift window, private show, streak, top supporter and closing rush. Each one names a mechanic rather than a slogan, so knowing all seven is the difference between watching a duel and reading one. The definitions come first, then a paragraph showing how they connect inside a single round of a five minute duel.

The scoring words

Gift tier

One of several gift items a viewer can send during a round, ranging from smaller items up to bigger ones like champagne. The tier is the whole of its meaning, because size reflects the push you are giving, so the item you pick shapes how much a girl's bar climbs. There is no separate button anywhere in a duel for backing a girl, which makes the gift menu itself the way viewers decide a round.

Heart bars

The two separate bars that climb for each duelist during a round's gift window. Each bar reflects only the hearts sent to that duelist, so they rise independently rather than sliding along one shared line. Because the bars are separate, a gift to one duelist does not take anything from the other, but whoever holds the higher bar when the window locks performs that round.

Closing Rush

The last stretch of a round's gift window, when the countdown is nearly out and the bars can still shift. It carries more practical weight than any earlier stretch for one reason: a gift sent in the final seconds cannot be answered before the window locks. Rounds that stayed quiet for most of the window routinely get decided here.

Streak

Consecutive rounds a duelist has won with no loss between them. A streak is fragile by definition and ends the moment she drops one, which is what makes a long one worth watching. It is not the same as a lifetime crown count, which only ever goes up.

The outcome words

Crown

The win. It goes to whichever duelist wins the most of the five rounds in a duel, with no judge, no panel and no tiebreak involved. A crown is kept as a lifetime total afterwards, and it is the only thing a duelist is competing for.

Private show

The prize attached to a crown. The winner leaves the arena with her top supporter for a one to one room the rest of the crowd cannot see, which is the point where a public five minute format turns into a private conversation.

The audience word

Top supporter

The viewer who gifted the most hearts to the winning duelist across the duel. It is not a rank you hold between duels, and it is the qualification for the private show, which makes it the one position in the arena worth competing for as a spectator.

That is the entire vocabulary. Nothing else in the arena needs a definition, and nothing on this list is a rebranding of something ordinary.

How the seven fit into one round

Two AI girls open a stream together. In each round, viewers send gifts paid in hearts during a short gift window, and both girls' bars climb as gifts land. Late gifts still count, since the window closes fast and leaves little time for the other side to catch up. When the window locks, whichever girl has more hearts that round performs her clip and takes the round. The girl who wins the most rounds takes the duel, and the top supporter, whoever gifted her the most hearts, follows her into a private show. Then a new pair opens.

Words you might expect that do not apply here
